  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 pint Sour Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 cups Sifted Flour
  • 6 Eggs


  1. Gather all your ingredients together to start your scrumptious pound cake. 

  2. Second, cream the butter and sugar together until very creamy. Next add your baking soda, sour cream and extracts.

  3. After those ingredients are mixed well, add your eggs 2 at a time with 1 cup of flour until it is added and mixed well. Beat well after each addition.

  4. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 in a greased bundt or tube pan.
